Missing in action

I really like the Alfa Romeo Spider. I remember that rowdy little roadster that Dustin Hoffman drove in The Graduate. Man that was one bad ass little car. They've had some decent power over the years too (the 1975-78 South Africa model had 150 horsepower!!). And a time proven method for speed is a relatively low horsepower engine in a lightweight chassis (check out the Lotus Elise - 122 bhp in a 1565 lb-car equals a 0-60 time of just 5.6 seconds - and I know many Elises have been clocked hitting 60 in under 5 seconds).
Tragic that production of the Spider ceased in April of 1993. It will be a fondly-remembered classic. |

I know a gy
i know a guy with a 196x Spider Protezoa or something i dunno what he said it was
and it looks like it coulda come off the lines in the 90s with no problem just like Porsche there way ahead of their time im not a big porsche fan but one has to admit you could get a 1970 porsche and if it was in good condition it would resemble a car form at least the late 80's |

Yeah, and it's difficult to find older Alfa Spiders, too. Or where I live, anyway.
My sister used to own an Alfa. Bought a used one that was 4 years old. A really beautiful car. But the problem is with their reliability. Her car never made it to 80,000 miles and has been sitting broken and unused in her driveway for the last 5 years. |

Here for the pussy, man.

I like the older ones, but I think the newer ones are better, simply it's an issue of character
