'05 Taco Service Light
Aloha,
Just passed 5K on my Indigo Pearl Taco. Does anyone have the reset sequence for the service light yet? Mahalo in advance for the help! |

If I remember right.
Put the key in, turn it to accessories. Make sure your odometer is showing (not trip A, or trip B). Push in the reset (trip meter) button (while displaying the odometer) and hold. Turn the key off. While still holding the button turn the key to accessory and continue to hold. It should do a little bar count down on the LCD and then the "Maint Req." light should reset. Hopefully I remembered it correctly. Good luck. |

Re: '05 Taco Service Light
Aloha Larry,
When all is said and done, us "Men" go back to the manual. Low and behold, all I had to do was RTFM. I am SOOO Embarrassed! I always thought the dealers used this as a ploy to get you into the dealership for their way overpriced service. Mahalo for the help! |
