Lemans to GTO clone headlight question

Hello, I am working on changing a 676 lemans into a gto clone. I have the grilles chnaged and the park turn signal lights. The gto park lights have an extrra wire that I assumed was a ground. But I grounded it and no lights at all. Any help is appreciated so I can quite banging my head on this one.
Thanks in advance

Re: Lemans to GTO clone headlight question

Hmmmm...I thought the wiring harness was a simple swap out and would work?Double check the ground wire and make sure the bulbs are good in the housings, they should be the double wire bulbs...1 for when "On" the other for turn signal when "Flashing"!

On a side note....I can't remember if You could just turn on the"Parking Lights" only on a 1966 or if You have to turn/pull the headlight switch out completely to turn on the parking lights and headlights at the same time? That might be Your problem issue?
