Jeff Gordon's Superman Returns #24 Monte Carlo
Even though it says Kyle Busch, the WIP thread is here.....
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=922989 I was able to get it done in time for the Atlanta Southern Nats NNL back in November, and was fortunate enough to be voted Best In Show. So thank you to every one that commented on it that day, and who voted for me. My favorite show of the year! I had no idea when I started on this car that it would turn into such a beast Once I finally settled on the Superman scheme, it's like it just took on a life of its own and really turned into something special. So thanks again for making that happen! And here it is....... Clay

What's with all those glue splotches everywhere? Just kidding, Clay. Excellent work, it was great looking this over at the show and I enjoyed taking many photos of it. I'm looking forward to next year.

Stunning model, the amount of aftermarket parts is insane, but i guess thats what you need to win a award now a days. Beautiful work and thanks for sharing.

Re: Jeff Gordon's Superman Returns #24 Monte Carlo
I was there and this model is spectacular! The Atlanta show is always chock full of awesome builds and to garner Best In Show there should truly be an honor. Way to go, man.
Edit: Holy cow. I've been a member since 2004 and this was my first post. I'm quite the lurker! |

Wow, congrats on the win! It's impressive enough in these photos, and they can't capture all of the detail. I imagine it would take hours with a magnifying glass to see everything.
