turn signals
2001 cherokee sport, when using the left turn signal, both of the turn signals in the back work, makes it look like the warning flashers are on. Only the left front one works on the front like it should. I think it is a ground problem. Any suggestions. The right turn signal works correctly in front and back.

Re: turn signals
it is the multi function switch on the steering column. notice next time it does it: that if you fool around with the hazard switch (top of steering column) the problem clears up temporarily. mine did the same thing and the $53 aftermarket (autozone) switch fixed the problem. took 15 minutes to replace also. mike

Re: turn signals
You are exactly right, I did just that, had my son look at the rear lights, and put on the left signal, both flashed, then moved the hazards switch a little, it has stopped. a multi switch what I need, thanks!!!

Re: turn signals
My Jeep is having the exact same issue. Is the multi function switch the one that controls hazards or the actual turn signal lever?
Tired of looking at the reflection off of other cars to see if my hazards are on. Thanks |
