Re: Aprilia RS Cube '04 1/12 scratchbuild

I would say that hardest part is done (well, it's easy to say this now XD). You have three months, I think that you have time to finish it

Something I would recommend is to think that you have to finish it before you really have to... finishing models in the night before the contest is usually a bad idea, you know.

Hi Roca,
I say again, you are a gifted person and very patient. This is going to be super. If you need any parts made on a lathe I may be ableto help. I just need some drawings.

Rod. :-)

Thanks Rod if i need some piece i will tell you

At this time of the build progress i decided to make a list of all the things i have to do... because in a project like this there is a lot of things to do

Well this is the list, When i finishes any thing I will be correcting it in my paper to discard made things

1-Finish the cover of the motor with putty, polish and create mold/piece
2-Create the mold of the 3 exhaust manifolds and copy them in resin
3-Finish motor block and create the mold and copy it in resin
4-Reinforce the frame with putty/styrene and make modifications for the adaptation of the engine/rear arm / rear suspension and the two ducks for the ram air and make molds of them
5-Finish joining the union of the two parts of the rear arm, polishing creating mold and copy in resin
6-Create mold of the front set of suspension and copy in resin
7-Create mold of the definitive seat cowl, and copy it in resin
8-Create the tubes of the radiator and begin the radiator
9-Start to mount the engine set, frame, rear arm, front suspension, rear suspension, seat cowl...
10-Begin to create the change/rear brake
11-Create mold of the front brakes/rear, and copy in resin

Well.. now about the body

12-Create mold of the left part of the body Copy it and join with the right part to begin the work in the body
13-Modify the frontal part of the tank fuel and adapt it to the frame/seat cowl.
14-Create the mold of the Tire/Wheels and copy in resin.

This is all... of course there is a general steps...

I hope to complete some of the steps mentioned but some steps can not be completed because i'm waiting for the tamiya putty yet
