Re: Yamaha YZR-M1 2009 Sterilgarda

Thanks guys.

Let's take a quick update, replacing the clutch cover the correct model, 2008.

Now I tried to do something different, like theoretically the motorcycle is off, the instrument panel should not appear the numbers, then picked up a transparency projector used for retro and painted one side, so the panel is off.

The kit TopN Studio, asks as reference to paint the panel the XF-26, but found it very dark, there did some testing and got the desired color.

Sorry Andrea, but do not understand your question, if you can do some indication in the photo.

Sandro - I believe that Andrea was asking about how you did the oil "inspection windows" on the engine to check oil level and color -

Re: Yamaha YZR-M1 2009 Sterilgarda

Thanks John, Andrea I used the same glue they use in photoetch, epoxy adhesive, with a small drop of betún of Judea (material used for aging craft).

Now a few more upgrades, more engine and some parts of electronics being installed as part of the motorcycle.

Rear wheel ready

Rear wheel installed in the balance of the motorcycle.

Re: Yamaha YZR-M1 2009 Sterilgarda

The exhaust is beautiful....! How did you make the stain on its side (the oval one)? Is it decal or was it made free hand?
Which size of carbon decals did you use ? 1/20?
