honestly, it doesn't mean jack shit in the long run. yes, its a great achievement to make that much power with so little to work with, but it really doesn't matter in the end. line it up against the "shitty" gt an the gt will run side by side with it at the end of a 1/4 mile, even tho it isn't as "effiencient" as the s2k. if u want to go farther into the hp/liter arguement and import dominance in the corners how bout the Z06? it only puts down 405hp from a 5.7 liter motor (only 71hp per liter), but it'll absolutley destroy the ITR or the S2K in both the straight line and the corners... as for boring...i guess thats all ur opinion. personally i love the neck snapping torque of the V8's...but thas jus my

KrNxRaCer00,
The S-2000 beats the GT. My ITR with 225HP beats them also. The Z06 is indeed much better than the ITR and S-2000. I've driven a C-5 and it is impressive. But the Z06 costs 50000$. Now put a turbo on an ITR with 18'' wheels, and you will be able to beat a C-5, but not a Z06 I agree. |

as for the the ITR w/ a turbo and 18's rims, no it will not touch the C5, UNLESS u build the internals. on the stock motor, u'll be lucky to push 5-6 psi SAFELY and u'd be looking at mid-low 13's w/ around 240/150 (to the FRONT wheels) compared to the 325/350 (to the REAR wheels) for the vette which would hit mid 12's EASILY if not lower. and i do agree w/ jackassi, the V8's sound beefy, not like a sewing machine...
