wheel spacers
I have a 5x115 bolt pattern on my car and I need about a 1 inch wheel spacer to clear the new calipers I put on my car but all I can find is 5x114.3 bolt pattern spacers. Does anyone even make the size I need and if so will 5x114.3 bolt pattern work or is that .7mm that important?

Re: wheel spacers
First, the bolt pattern is critical. The conical nuts that are used to hold the spacer on need to seat squarely or you run the risk of the nut backing off.
But a much more serious issue is the use of spacers - period. The consensus from various postings on the web is that spacers are a bad idea with a fair amount of risk. It would be much safer to get rims that don't require spacers. |

Re: wheel spacers
Thanks for the response. I think I'll revise my choices now. I appreciate it.
