replacing radiator thermo switch
My car started overheating at stoplights but runs cool when driving at normal highway speeds. Turns out that the radiator cooling fan no longer is operating. I also had a check engine light come on before this started happening. Just want to make sure that it is the radiator fan switch and if it is, how can I get to it. It is a stock 1989 Honda civic 3 door 1.5 liter. Do I have to remove the intake manifold to get to it?

Re: replacing radiator thermo switch
As for the switch I dont know, but check your fan first, unhook it and hook it strait to your battery. It may be a bad fan insted of switch.
