CarMax
Do they usually have the best prices on used cars? Better to find an independent car lot? Better to go to an actual dealerships used car lot?

Re: CarMax
Carmax recently opened a store in our town so there isn't a lot of history locally at this time , probably not enough to make a judgement call ? Independent lots can be reliable but also can be your worst nightmare ? Actual dealership lots usually have a better reputation than the independents but not by much ! I'd suggest asking friends or family members that have had history with your local car lots ( whether independent or dealerships ) about their experience with respective businesses . Actual experiences will tell you more than any opinions anyone on AF might offer . Also inquiries ( about local dealers and their history ) being directed to your local Business Bureau's might be beneficial ! Do your research and good luck !
