It should be the red one, Mikhail..

I also never saw this type of the intake manifold. I just saw two types of it - the road and the sport version, but they both are different.

According to all my references the air intake is correct for rally version...

Re: Bmw m3 e30

Here are two I have on my hard drive, taken on an web add for a former official Prodrive rally car for sale and another one, from a prodrive anniversary celebration page.
you may all have better eyes than me for détails but it's clearly closer to white car engine in the picture at the top of this page

Thank you Phil. Engine on your pictures is the same as on the last picture in my post #59.
Here are the main mistakes of a Romik's engine besides the lettering: https://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/6043..._db12d65b_orig

Re: Bmw m3 e30

You really have a great eye for détails, and I agree with you for the dual/single pipe question.
for the panel above or at the front of the radiator, I' think that it's just the panel that is too long to the rear in Roman's build compared to picture, but I think location/position of radiator is not far from correct...

There's no doubt that these "mistakes" the Romik's engine has can be fixed easily by any of us, specially by you...
