Unhappy 91 Cutless Cierra, fuel pump cutting off after startup

Guys im a helping person needing help. I have a older lady(70's) next door that in need of getting her car going. So any help is very very thankful from me and her. Im not even charging her I just felt like it my job to help this nice old lady. I just got her a new set of tires so she can make it to the doctor. Now the car got problems.

The car starts fine its just after about 2-3 seconds it shuts itself off. Im changed the fuel pump and the fuel relay, but the problem persist. The pump cuts on when started and pumps just enough gas to get the car started but then you can hear the pump cut itself back off.

Anyone know were to look?

Thanks and

Welcome to AF.

Its best if you list engine and any other details to help solve your delima.

But I'd check the wire harness to the pump.
SOmetimes the wires get broke/damaged.

Change the fuel filter.
