91 Cutlass Ciera electrical problem
Am installing a Sony CD Player into my 91 Cutlass Ciera 4 door. There have already been two stereos into this car before. I have hooked up the yellow (ignition) and orange (power) wire from the car, to the blue remote (for the amp), and red and yellow from the stereo so that it will come on when the key is turned. There is also another yellow for constant power but this stereo needs not to be constant. The problem is that, with the current configuration, all the interior lights and power locks do not work unless the key is turned. I need someone to help me figure out how to get the inside lights and power locks to always be able to work without making the stereo a constant.
Thanks in advance, Sean |

Nevermind I fixed it, I had overlooked a blown fuse. But I still have the problem that the stereo forgets the time and other memory sensitive things like settings after the car has been off for a few minutes. I can't seem to figure out why this is. Please help
