It looks stunning.
Too bad that the wheels have such bad angles, maybe you can work that a little.

Beautiful job. What brand is that paint and where did you find it?

The color is mr color 162 over dark red primer. I think the color is discontinued now.

Re: 1/24 MFH Ferrari 250GT Lusso
Congratulations on completing a fantastic model. This is the first MFH model of the Ferrari 250 Lusso I've seen. You must be very pleased and proud of the results.
It's one of the most interesting and beautiful of Ferraris, particularly in this colour, the same colour as the 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso finished in "Marrone" (Medium Brown Metallic), which was a present for the actor Steve McQueen's 34th birthday. The last time I saw a 1/24 build of a Lusso was Alex Kustov's incredible construction from a Kraft model. It's clear that the body shape and window shape on the MFH is more accurate and scale, not only of the old Kraft Model but of the Hotwheels Elite diecast in 1/18 scale. I just wish I could build a model as well as this and have it in my showcase. |
