1/12 revell 69 camaro 3d parts

So I picked up the foose Camaro, and couldn't stand the wheels so I stated making some 3D printed ones. Which lead to brakes then master cylinder hen fans. I am thinking of putting them for sale but want to see if there is enough interest to start producing them. let me know if interested in them. Also if you want some highly detailed engine and trans for it I found a company called tdr innovations with bbc and sbc 1/12 kits.

wheels use kit tires, and master cylinder fits kit booster
calipers are 6 piston
wheel are set 1.5" front lip rear adjustable with axle trimming made to mount to stock parts.

Re: 1/12 revell 69 camaro 3d parts

I am always willing to applaud those among us wishing to better, or improve our hobby.

The ideas coming from the 3D market are growing as the technique expands, and ALL ideas are more than welcome by most people I would assume.
Larger scales often get over looked, mainly because the cost increases so much. 1/12 is one that has been lacking for years.

Your ideas will only be held back if cost is too high in my opinion. (Says the guy who paid $400 for a 1/12 3D body....) BUT, if it is something that someone "must have", we sometimes pay exorbitant prices.

Just as a FYI too, TDR have just released a 6-spot caliper and brake set, though I'm not sure what size it represents, they may be too large for the Camaro.

Good luck mate.

Forgot to put the scale dimensions.
The rims scale 22" like the kit rims
Brakes 15"
Fans 10" by 2.5" deep

All the parts are available on shapeways.com I have 3 set of wheels all use kit tires. 2 sets of brakes. and electric fans with shroud. You can visit the shapeways shop JL Customs. Also if you need something else for this kit let me know and i'll try to get done for you. Still going to do optima batt, sub frame connectors, some more engine bay items.

Have you done any test prints? My rotors have to be printed in the frosted high detail. Any other medium and the vent holes don't print properly. The same with my rotor hat. Unfortunately the medium makes it a little pricey!
