driver 1 driver 2 reversed

Just bought 2001 Aurora. Have Key fob's 1 & 2. When I press unlock on fob #1, DIC shows vehicle #2 on display, and settings change to driver #1. When I press unlock on fob #2, DIC shows vehicle #1 on display, and settings change to driver #1. I would like to know how to make driver #1 personal settings correspond to driver #1 on fob, and driver #2 settings to driver #2 on fob. Rsestting driver 1, or 2 on door panel does not work either. Also, reprogramming DIC did not help.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Frankly, the owners manual for this vehicle is not clear in many areas, and leaves a lot to be desired.

Thanks,
George888

They were programmed incorrectly but the dealer will charge you to fix them. I would just live with it or like Isnibs said, switch the backs...
