Question 2006 Chrysler Pacifica engine problems

I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. My wife and I were driving to town and it just died. Had trouble restarting engine. After it started it bogged down and died again. I had to keep my foot on the gas or it would die again. Had to get it pulled home wouldn't stay running. At first i thought it was the fuel pump, but I checked it and its getting fuel. Checked the coil packs and the spark plugs. The spark plugs were dirty so I cleaned them off. I also checked the intake manifold tuning valve. It flapped back and fourth pretty fast not sure if that if that is normal or not. Not sure what to do next. Any information would be appreciated.

Check the battery. When mine went it acted real stupid so that when I got a new one I couldn't believe that was all that was wrong.
