Salvage, but no Damage claims (possibly stolen)

Hi guys,
I am looking at the vehicle that's got a Rebuild status. Although, CarProof states that this vehicle has never been in accidents. Just one day it the all sudden gets the Salvage status. The dealer says that he bought it from an insurance auction. He claims that the vehicle was possibly stolen. When he bought it "salvaged", the car had no damage whatsoever. He shows photos of it, just right off the auction, on his tow truck - indeed, almost mint car. No damage at all. Only a little scratch on the side. So my question is, could that be true? I will attach that carproof report so I hope that some experienced people here can give me a word of advice. Thanks!
I am not sure why photos are not visible. Right click on icon and choose "Open image in new tab"
