Tamiya's massive booth in Hall 7A will be displaying many new product announcements. While we are not able to disclose exact product details, here is a sneak peek.
• New 1/14 Semi-truck
• New M-Chassis kit
• New version of a popular on-road chassis kit
• New R/C Hop-Up Option parts for the M-05, TB-04 and EVO 6
• New French Model Tank
• New Championship winning motorcycle replica
• New Italian track only sports car in 1/24 scale
• New Mini 4WD products

Make sure to follow our Blog post on January 27 for the complete listing of NEW items!
One item really attracted my interest, the underlined one above. Could it be the FXX-K?

Hope so! Would be cool if they did the Aston Martin Vulcan and McLaren P1 GTR to accompany it. Wishful thinking, I know.

I would deeply prefer a 488 gte, or also just that ultra famous and beautiful 458gt2 from afcorse that I had to build by myself...

Re: Tamiya at 2016 Nuremburg Toy Fair

I wonder why HLJ or Hobbysearch haven't begun pre-ordering of the FXX K??

The feedback I got from them both is that they don't have any "official" timing from Tamiya, so have not posted reserved orders. I find that interesting given other sites have something (who knows accuracy).

HLJ seems to be slacking in everything lately, not getting things in as quick and not keeping as much in stock. Becoming a second rate distributor.

Although, I'd agree with you that it's highly annoying HLJ and others do this it no doubt saves them money in the long run not having as much excess inventory. It some what makes sense with pre-orders the item may be a hit or a flop. I don't understand, however, the proven consistent selling items being of stock (besides OOS from the manufacturer).

I liken HLJ's change to Amazon's recent inconsistency in shipping. Sometimes they take almost 2 weeks to ship out something listed IN STOCK and sold/shipped by Amazon.
