I agree with the similar looks, but I dont think european companies are much better. Compare the a3,a4,a6 and a8 together and you basically have the same car.

Re: '08 350Z = Quick!
For the longest time when the 350Z came out I hated the way it looked. I always thought of it as a dumbed down version of a Porsche with absolutely no styling. I mean the only real styling cues on the car were a silver verticle door handle and triangle head/taillights, thats it. But then...as of late the car grew on me. I like the fastback look of the roof, being a two-seater was a plus, and I like the way you sit really low in the car. But the price brand new for one of them is just too expensive, 35k easy. Only the base model was about the same price as a used GTO, and who the heck wants a base model car with no frills at all for a daily driver. The interior seems kinda lacking in quality as well. I still love the car, and I love the new bright colors they have for them, it was a tough choice for a while between that and the GTO. Its crazy, a few years ago I wouldn't of gave them a second look.

Re: '08 350Z = Quick!
^^Amen to the no leather. I wish you could get more fully loaded cars without leather! It's ok at the perfect temp. However, it is hotter than hell in the summer, freezing and stiff in the winter, and shows wear easier. My VR4 is all charcoal leather and the only thing that saves my back from 3rd degree burns in the heat is if I crack my sunroof allowing fresh air to circulate through the car.

I kind of like it. I think it will need to grow on me a bit more but it's not bad. I love that color choice for the interior as well.

Re: '08 350Z = Quick!
The interior color choices are horrid... I'm not a fan of tan leather. Just looks... odd to me.
Only cars it works for is Ferrari. And even then I'm weary of it.

Re: '08 350Z = Quick!
I absolutely love the fastback look of it but the headlights/taillights kill it for me. I don't think they flow well at all and make the car look like a Maxima from the back. The interior looks almost the same, and which is what turned me away from the car and to the gto at the time. Although I like the alcantara arm rests, I feel they would get ruined easily.
