Wasn´t happy with the kit-decals that should be used for the type designation on the front grille and tried something new.
First try was printing the scanned designations directly on plastic sheet and cut it. Unfortunately the printed letters were not smear resistant enough.
Second try was printing on paper and glueing it on plastic sheet. That worked a lot better (well, apart from the little accident when I nearly lost my finger while cutting the letters. )
The result looked much better than decals to me.







In the meantime, a nice, small parcel from KFS arrived and so I could complete the cab with orange beacons and all. Sun visor was painted with Tamiya Smoke.











Right now, I´m waiting for oil paint to simulate some grease on the 5th wheel. After that I will take some pictures for the gallery.
