No clue? He was just posting to the original question which you have taken very far away from that. And to the original question I myself don't like when people switch Ford to Chevy or Chevy to Ford. To me it just doesn't seam right to mix and match companies. And I don't think you would be saving yourself any money by doing this. Both the 350 and 302 have good sized after markets.

Me too. I feel a Ford should be left a Ford and a Chevy left a Chevy etc.... I am a purist. That guy was responding to the first post. I guess I felt he was a little clueless. I mean how does he know somwbody did`nt say the same thing he just did, if he does`nt bother to read the posts?

Samandiar, why are you trying to start this shit up again? Do you have some issues you need to work out on this thread? Bring it on, but I don`t think you`re prepared for me. Just like the other hot-heads found out. This is for you Samandiar,

Re: Engines?

Hello again, people!

Hadn't looked in this forum for days, my how it has grown. All kinds of man vs. woman, country vs. country friction!

This thread started out with a request for opinions on cross-breeding a Mustang with a Chevy. I don't think it's a black and white situation, it depends on what the guy wants to do with HIS car. According to mrpbody, who seems quite knowledgeable in other forums, the car will run faster for less money with a Chevy. But fewer people will want to buy it, as demonstrated by the many posters who bleed Ford oval blue. It's up to the Mustang owner and her husband.

By the way, I AM a male. And my Corvette's next engine will be a 500-inch 1970 Caddy Eldorado, my favorite street motor!

Re: Engines?

I think that this forum needs to be closed. Maybe to help people some people from receiving further critizism or just to stop the annoying behavior.

Re: Engines?

Rhonda,
Does your husband know youre a FEMALE "cheauvanist" pig? I hate to be the one to bring this up again, but i could not ignore your fascist comments. I am 17 years old. I work part-time at a local grocery store, as well as my full-time job at a GM dealership, and go to college. I can honestly say that i have never met a customer, stranger, hobo, or mental patient as rude, ignorant, or UNINFORMED as you. To be honest, i think you should be outside Congress protesting, holding signs, smoking marijuana, etc. On that topic, were you completely bunked when you wrote these posts? And around here, BUDDY, disagreeing with pbody is like telling God ways he could have improved all his creations. I am mildly disappointed that someone with such poise, such intellectual stability, would make stupid remarks and totally go astray from the point of the forum, around here, unless the thread is marked "Guys, AND BEER", there IS NO "SEX". Gearheads that comprise this site do not care, or want to know, what the sex of the people they're talking to is (or WAS, in your case.) Hehe. My point, you ask? well, now that im done insulting you.
If you don't know what youre talking about, dont post here, assuming you do. We love our cars. Do not grace the pages of this site if you want to be called Ms. we do not distinguish sex, race, origin, or any of that other mindless crap. Here, we belong to one race-Gearhead (Carrus Loverus)

Thanks. Are you still my BUDDY?
Mikey.

Re: Engines?

Mikey,

While I certainly appreciate the sentiment and the confidence, I feel a bit "strange" being used in the same sentence as "God". No way, but again, thanks. I simply post what I know to be true. Rhonda has simply never encountered anyone that wouldn't roll over and play "dead" for her. She was probably a good-looking young woman and has aged. That type isn't accustom to being told "No", and it throws them for a loop when it happens.

Jim

Well put, mrpbody! You have experience, insight and wisdom about topics other than cars!
