Isn't like the Dodge Caravan like the best minivan for like the last decade?

They are the same van. The difference is the equipement you get.

Grey body cladding, aluminum wheels, badging, traction control I think that was all back in 1998 on CDN models.

Actually the difference is nil. "Montana" was the top of the line package on the second generation Trans Sport. The name was eventually used for the entire line and "Trans Sport" was dropped.

Wrong, you can get a Trans Sport with the Montana package without the trip computer, power sliding door, etc. The top of the line would have Montana AND these options.

The top model of the regular Trans Sport would cost more and have more features than the base Montana version.

Montana is an equipment package, like a 'sport' package. It does not mean top of the line although the top of the line would have the Montana package.

"Montana" WAS (in 1997) a trim package. It is NOW the name of the minivan. Pontiac does not sell a "Trans Sport" minivan anymore. They're all called Montana.

My point was the "top-of-the-line" comment was wrong. You could get a cheaper Montana that a regular Trans Sport.

I know that the Trans Sport was replaced with Montana, I never disputed that.
