1st : Volkswagen Golf (32 000 sales)
2d : Peugeot 206 (31 000)
3rd : Renault Mégane II & Scénic (29 000)
4th : Peugeot 307 (24 000)
5th : Ford Focus ( 22 000)
6th : VW Polo (19 000)
7th : Renault Clio (19 000)
8th : BMW 3 Series (18 000)
9th : Citroën C3 (18 000)
10th : Citroën Xsara & Picasso (17 000)

785 329 cars sold in August 2003 in Europe.
GROUPS :
VAG : 20,9 %
PSA : 15,3 %
Renault : 9,6 %
Fiat Spa : 6,5 %
