Help Buying New Car Opinions Wanted

Hi Im going to be getting a new car in the near future. I was set on getting an RSX for the past few months but recently have been thinking of getting a celica. Right now in my mind I have them just about even so to help me figure this out can you guys list some reasons you would pick one over the other. Thanks

Drive them both and see which one feels better to you. Between the seat, shifter, control layout, steering feel, pedal feel, view out the window, etc. you will almost for sure like one better than the other.

I totally agree with Brian R., it would be an excellent idea to go test drive both and see which one you like better. But personally i absolutely love celicas. I mean, they are so comfortable, fast and just altogether sexy. I would recommend a celica to you before an acura, but it's up to you. Just my two cents.

Personally I would suggest a RWD V8 car like mine that puts out 300 ft lbs of torque at the wheels at 3500 rpms

To my experience I find the RSX unusually slow. I love the back of the celica but dont care for the bulge in the front headlights. I really think acura should have spent a bit more time designing a good car to replace the integra but oh well. Its not that bad just make sure you go over everything and maybe do some research and read some car reviews so you can be aware of whatever trouble you may encounter with your new vehicle.

From my experience, these two cars are total opposites in control ergonomics. If you like one, you will find the other a problem to use. One will be intuitive and the other strange. This is just one of the many differences. I doubt you'll find a real difference in the quality. Get the one you would like to drive every day, and one you could drive for 10-15 hours without torture.

Thanks everyone. You have all given good advice and I'll be sure to consider all the advice and everything else including research before I make a final choice. Also I have heard what Brian R. said. My friend said he has the RSX and loves it but completely hates the celica and another person i know hates the rsx but loves the celica. Thanks again esp. for not telling me this topic has been discussed 2 many times which btw i didnt know since i jsut recently joined.

Just remember to also choose what you want and use your own opinioin. No shame in liking either one so dont listen to fanatics. As stated earlier test drive both and go with your gut feeling, others may not like your choice but screw em. Everyone was telling me to get a RSX but in America we have choice so be sure to get what you want drive everyday

Drive both in the same day. Do it a few times if you have to. Just remember that whichever one you buy you're stuck with for a while.
