91' PRevia never had spark plug change or fuel filter change.
I haev no idea how to depressureize the system and stuff.. I heard if you can just stuff some #2 pencils in there thats it? I THINK I found the fuel filter, it looks like an black can and is by the gas tank??? In its whole 160,000 mile life it NEVER EVER had one spark plug or fuel filter change... and still runs well.
Since my dad bought the car he gave it an oil change every 5,000 miles... , and gave it an air filter change every 25,000 + miles. Since the age of 12 I've been taking more care of it, better air filters, oil filters, fuel and oil addictives... now I need to know how to replace the fuel filter. Can I just stuff pencils in the pipes, replace the filter, and reconnect them? I read that this works. |

well.. some people unplug the fuse for the fuel pump, then turns the engine on until runs out of gas and it turns off. then you can remove the fuel filter, but be ready to catch some fuel still. I just use some rags to catch the remaining fuel from the line. the fuel filter is located on the driver's side. hope this helps.
