Hmm don't sell it! Never!

Just but it the glass vitrine, if some asks, say it's art.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

I'm into Press kits [as well as Autobarns] at the moment, and having recently acquired a couple of great ones from MDS I ventured onto eBay and bought this -

A LARK Mclaren GTR press kit

I also considered this press kit but the price went too high considering the additional info gained from it. Still a great addition to a press kit collection I think, but I'd put my money on the models instead of press kits. A correct shocking (dayglo) pink/gun metal grey Lark model is a pleasure to the eye!

Welcome to the Forum!!!

I have to ask; are you going to put it on the glass vitrine or what you have planned to do this rare unit?!!?!?
Thank you.
Last week I bought a reading lamp with an ac/dc converter to mount the head lamp unit on.
The idea is to create a rare and original reading lamp in my living room.
When finished, I'll show some pics.

What about some pictures of that crash in the first lap of the Fia GT race at Spa in 1997, when all 3 Gulf Davidoff McLarens crashed out of the race together, nobody has pictures of that weird moment?
Or have some tips for a (famous) photographer in that time, who I can ask?

Brings to mind the photographers of the 1997 Endurance GT book, David Noels and Clement Marin. If they don't have them, they should at least know who has. Or then the writer of the books, Michael Cotton.

Glad to have been of 'service', Greg!

I loved the LARK colour scheme.

If you see of any Solid Red F1 'pins' appearing on the 'net for sale, mail me, please.

MdS.

I don't have any color codes. As far as I know, it's Gulf orange from 1995 and 1996.

I would have thought, that Andy Bee, would be the best person to ask.

Off my head, I would say its a RAL colour.

Thanks! They are pretty well built. I have owned other tins by the same maker and they were also well made. The one in my pic has a variation as well. The seller told me that it had a McLaren sun blocker instead. I also noticed the Top Gear logo on the side wasn't on the other one.

Cost was around $15 USD I think?

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

I had the FINA tin when I was a kid.

Didn't realise how much of a fan of the F1 I'd become and now I don't have it anymore.

I seem to remember my grandad had the Gulf one above, wonder if he's still got it...
