I was hoping someone could tell me how hard it would be to remove a fender from an 89 Towncar. My son has asked for one thing for Christmas, a driver's side front fender and being that I cannot find that in a store I was hoping to get any advice possible.
I've called junkyards and one has them but you have to remove it yourself. I was also very skeptical about ordering a fender online, that seemed crazy! Any advice is appreciated! Thanks, Bonnie |

Re: 89 Towncar Fender
Removing a fender from an 89 town car isn't all that hard, especially if you are taking it off of a junk car. You won't have to remember what bolted to where on the fender untill it comes time to replace it on the car you want to keep (i assume the vehicle you have has a fender on it now). It's a matter of taking out bolts. Knowing where the bolts are in advance will help, but it's not necessary. As you try to remove the fender, You'll know where it's getting caught up and if there's a bolt there, it's just a matter of taking it out.
