Re: Re: Buick Lacrosse in severe wreck

Terrible accident! It doesn't make any difference how well GM engineers designed the LaCrosse or any car for that matter. You cannot beat the laws of physics. You have the speed of the emergency vehicle, speed of the LaCrosse, and especially the weight of the emergency vehicle to consider into the equation.

I've seen worse. A late model Honda Accord was t-boned, sustained similar damage and worse yet split in half. The sole occupant (driver) died at the scene. Regardless, it's food for thought. Good post.

Re: Buick Lacrosse in severe wreck

It's terrible, I have a PA, and while its a bit safer, its still incredibly weak compared to an F250(as pictured)

Thats why I'll buy a truck or SUV next, not to be like everyone else, but to be safe from everyone else.

That is a horrible wreck. I wish that kind of stuff would never happen but it does. Here are some pictures of an accident worse than the lacrosse. If you can't tell it's an Audi. http://www.ehowa.com/features/audicrash.shtml
