Silverado Torsion Bar

Ok the torsion bar...where it fits into the lower a-arm, on my truck it is not a tight fit, its kinda sideways inside the fitting. I kinda think its suppose to be like that otherwise i could bust my keys when the lower a-arm goes down/up, so i figure the play within that little fitting might be normal. But im wanting to find out from people who know about this, or have wondered the same thing.
Thanks ahead of time!
