01 Grand Am 2.4L sometimes starts

Hello, I have an 01 Grand am 2.4L that will start sometimes but not every time. Other times it will start for a second or two then die. It has been sitting for a while so we put heet in it to see if that would help and nothing. We changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, spark plugs, and the camshaft sensor and we still get the same results. I was planning on changing the crankshaft sensor out as well but wanted to see if anyone else has any idea of what the problem might be.

Thanks in advance.

You're shotgunning the issue rather than doing actual diagnosis. Until you actually diagnose and figure out what is happening when it won't start then we are going to be just as clueless as to how to fix it.

Is the security light staying on or flashing when it won't start? The VATS (passkey) is a common problem with a lot of GM vehicles.
