Can i just unbend my radiator and condenser?
It was a rainy day and i slid into the back of a mustang. My bumper went under the mustang and i ended up smashing my hood, condenser and radiator in. I was wondering what the condenser was for, if i could just unbend it.
Can i do the same for my radiator? I was all so wondering.... I was going like 5mph when i hit the guy, could any thing else be wrong? All i can see is a bent radiator, hood and condenser. |

Re: Can i just unbend my radiator and condenser?
The condensor is the heat exchanger for the air conditioning system. You cannot just unbend it and expect it to work. It will likely crack if you bend it, although there's a good chance it already has a hole in it. Same goes for the cooling system radiator.
As for your question on if there's anything else you need - it sounds like you need new tires. -Rod |

seems like alot of damage for a 5MPH hit.... The A/C in my Lanos never worked anyway. If that is your case i would just buy a new Radiator at AutoZone (they cost about 180 bucks on back order) and just remove the radiator and condenser and just put a radiator back in and forget the condenser.
