Re: Australian V8 Supercar?
On a related subject I have started looking into producing curbside resin kits for ATCC cars. The first one I would consider doing is the 1984 Greens Tuf DJR XE falcon for the only reason that it's my favorite touring car of all time. I'm extremely early into the process having looked in to 3d printing. photo-modelling and 3d imaging. Basically at the moment it's all in my head. Where we could get around the licensing issues would be to produce a generic body be it XE falon or VY Commodore etc and supply the decals separately and maybe not in order. I have been following with great interest the posts from that brilliant russian stratos 75 and he/she is very inspiring to say the least.
The trouble with diecasts in my opinion is that they are 1/18th which is neither here or there and they still do look like toys to me. Anyway it's early days and maybe I'm just full of hot air, time will tell. |
