VH45DE in a Z32?
hey,, big question. does anyone know if it is possible to put a VH45DE into a nissan 300ZX? Because i own a 1990 300ZX NA 2 seater with a blown engine. i also have a good chance of purchasing a VH45DE for real cheap. iv gotten mixed results in other forums. please someone let me know if its possible!

I'll be supprised if you get better results here.
The Q45 motor is longer and wider than the Z motor. Plus you would have to use the automatic from the Q (similar to the auto in the 300ZXTT). Can it be done? Sure it can. Or you can take the time, effort, and half of the money you would invest in this swap, buy and build a nice Cobra kit, and outrun everyone. |
