top speed
ive read that all v6 firebirds have some sort of govenor that cuts off the fuel a 118 mph. i have a 97 v6 firebird would there be any way to disable this???

118 mph seems low... anyway, if this is the case you must change it in the ECU. This can be done by changing the e-prom or software for the ECU (chiptuning) since most chips disable the top speed limitation.
