2006 Envoy XL SLE Rear Windshield
Hey everyone, I recently bought a 2006 Envoy XL with about 55k miles. I opened the rear hatch window the other day and had trouble closing it; when I looked up I saw that the passenger side hinge was no longer attached to the glass. It looked like the adhesive had melted, it was stretching. I called the local GMC service center and it is not something they would work on, they send out glass work to safelite and other auto glass places in the area. I called safelite (and will stop by tomorrow) and they sounded as if this was out of their league also. Does this sound familiar to anyone, any advice?
Thanks in advance. |

Re: 2006 Envoy XL SLE Rear Windshield
Remove the glass hatch and hinges.
Try Gorilla glue for minor repair. |
