Broken Sub YIPPEEE

Ok so i look at my subs today becuz they were sounding a little weird and one has a hole in the middle of it. Perhaps from my golf clubs that i put in there. I have a grill cover for them but they dont cover the center. Well i have 12 inch kicker comps and i figure now is a good time to upgrade my stuff. I have a kvx 200.1 amp with my subs. So I was wondering what i need to upgrade my subs. I figure around 500 dollars for amp and all maybe a little more but somewhere around there. PLEASE HELP ME. I want it to sound great and be loud but the way it sounds is most important. I am fairly new at this so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a friend that builds boxes so i dont need to worry about getting a box. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ported 4cuft@32Hz 30sqin of port area at least. it'll be pretty loud to say the least. for a bit more SPL get an SX15 (or even 18 if you can spare 7-8 cuft gross) with a BX1205D.
