Exclamation Automotive carrier certificate degree please help

Im new to the forums. I love cars and may possibally work on them in my carrer if i choose to. I wanted to and applied to a community colledge, but its to far for me, like an hour and a half. I dont know know nobody in that school, and the train is soo crowded(Bronx community college. i know my limitations, if its to far and i know nobody i might get lazy. How ever thier is certificates close to my area. New york auto diesel institute has and is the only master certificate and master autobody technician in new york. I also mas to to queens community college for computer technology and most of my friends are going. is it possible to go to a different college and technical school get a job, and hang out? what should i do. i herd its better to make automotive a hobby and take computering how computer jobs are air conditioned. hat should i do. also computer technology is not the only thing queens community college teaches, what will make me succeed?!!

Success will come from setting and achieving goals. You can do whatever you want to, it's a matter of will exerted over time. Sounds like BS but for the most part it's true.

If you love working on vehicles and would like to do it all day, every day, go for it. But if you have computer skills and like typing and looking at a screen all day, then go for that. Ultimately, you'll have to make the decision about which way to go.

I'm sure there will be more input about the pros and cons of each career. You have plenty of time in which to make your decision.
