I got another ABS module but I am hesitant to put it in because of all the bleeding.....could it be cylinoid or senser or just the brain box?????? Anyone, any help is much appriciated

Take the car to a mechanic or garage with a scan tool. Not just a code reader. He will be able to diagnose the problem for you and help you get it repaired. Unfortunately the ABS system is so complicated that you need to know what you are doing in order to repair it correctly. It is possible that the solenoid, pump or sensor has gone bad but without scanning it there is no way to really know for sure.

thanks

my bro just scanned it for me and it said "rear channel not working" and ABS comp malfunction. We replaced the ABS module and everything is fine. Anyone, if you have ABS problems and don't want to spend an arm and a leg to get it fixed, i recommend getting it scanned and if you need part, well try to get them from a wrecking yard. Worked for me.

Hey, did it come on sometimes? Mine does when I put it in gear once I start it up... But if I wait for a minute it won't come up........

on mine, it came on all the time when the car was on..... I scanned it with a scanner and it pin pointed the problem.... Before that i tried disconnecting the car battery and check all the fuses and relays but that was not the broblem. It could be a sensor but the only way to be sure is to have it scanned with a good scanner. Once you find the problem then you can usually find a good working part on ebay or at a wrecking yard.
