1993 Ram 350 trans problem

1993 dodge Ram 350. 360 engine with overdrive transmission. When the weather get cold, about 35 degrees or colder and I start the engine I put it in reverse and it stalls out the engine. Once I drive it and the trans warms up it works fine. Never have any problems when the weather is warm. This very confusing and frustrating.

Yes only in reverse. I tried it in 1st 2nd and drive when cold and it is fine only in reverse. The engine sputters and stalls out like it is an electrical issue.

Look for a 2-wire connector on the front half of the tranny (don't remember which side). Follow the 2 wires and check to see if they are chaffed anywhere and rubbing against ground.
