transmission / transfer case question
Hi, I just bought a 1990 pickup22 re 5 speed4x4. My question is can the lube from tcase work its way into the transmission ? I was going over it today for the first time, the transmission had wayyyy too much fluid in it, the tcase none. Is there a seal of some kind between them?
The poor truck has been beat pretty hard but I hope to fix it up some for a dd. I'm in need of a exhaust manifold if anytime.knows of one for sale ??? Thanks Tim |

Re: transmission / transfer case question
Yes there's a seal, they don't share the gear oil.
