69 t-top big block car..maybe
I have a chance to buy a 69 without motor or auto transmission. It has the BB hood and the guy says it was a big block car from California. Can a guy find out from the VIN number if it really was and which motor it had? The VIN is 194379S725822. The car is out of state so all I have is a bunch of pictures. In one picture there is a 3-4 inch rust hole in what looks like the area looking up in front, or behind the rear tire. Is this the "bird cage" area? I had a 350/350 69 back in the early 90's but like most idiots, sold it cuz I had kids to feed. Any input would be great.

OK, can anybody point me to a site or club that can tell me about VIN 194379S725822? If it's a true big block car I want to get it before someone else does.

I am confused ... whats the deal? If it's big block or not - it wont have matching numbers if it does not come with the ORIGINAL engine
