Hello all, new member here...
Hello all,
I picked up a 2003 SLK 32 AMG for my wife last weekend, and I just wanted to say "WOW!" This thing is quick. I never owned a convertible before so I didn't know what to expect. But I must say, I like it. The car is like a coupe until the top is lowered and then, WOW again! It seems like the sky just opens up. The car is brilliant silver with charcoal interior, has the lighting package and CD changer (everything else is standard). I read a Car & Driver test where their '32 did 0-60 in 4.5 sec and the quarter mile in 13.0, but Mercedes claims a 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds. I'm not sure what the difference is caused by (it's an auto shifter so the launch shouldn't be an issue) so it must be the air temp, humidity, and altitude. p.s., click on "Gallery" below. I just posted pics.
