Exclamation ???? 92 legend buying questions ???

I am looking at buying a 1992 Acura Legend. I talk to the owner and he said he believes it has a blown head gasket given the advice his boss gave him about the problem.
This is how he described it to me:
It started out as the temp gauge would go up and down, so he talked to a mechanic about it and the mechanic said he needed a thermostat. Then about 3 days before he was scheduled to take it in, he said the temp gauge went all the way up and wouldnt go back down and also said it felt like the engine lost a little bit of power. He said it has about 150,000 miles on it which doesn't sound high at all for a honda. Also he has owned it for 2 years and only lived 8 minutes from his job. Planning on going and looking at it today or tomorrow. ANYTHING I SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO OR LOOK FOR????

THANKS!
