Thanks for proving my point Porsche

You pay $10 for a walmart shirt or $30 for a Ralph Lauren shirt. Add four zeros...$100,000 for a Porsche or $300,000 for a Ferrari. Ralph Lauren is just plain better than walmart, so Ferrari is just plain better than Porsche

Actually, I think most Porsches are probably more refined and more technically advanced than most Ferraris...I would still take a Ferrari any day over a Porsche, though

Refined and advanced in a different kind of way though. What other V8's can you think of that redline at 8500? What about Ferrari's F1 system?

Nothing compared to BMW's SMG II or Aston Martin's which is a modified Ferrari System.

i thought the F1 transmissions were made by Magnetti-Marelli....a Ferrari related company, but not Ferrari.

Lol

It's true

I've worked with enough Porsches...the Tip is nothing more than an automatic with a button to make it shift.

I was just thinking, what if a freak tornado passed through the area?
i would do the same thing everyone else would do...grab a F50 and get the hell outta there...and make sure no cars were in my way.

Ok I think you have your facts a bit confused. The GT3 is a beautiful car no doubt, but it is by no means one of the highest performing street legal cars... The GT3 was designed as a replacement of the earlier RS model. It has 360bhp @ 7200RPM and 272 lb ft torque. It is one of the fastest non-turbo models Porsche has ever designed.

I dont know if maybe you were thinking of the GT2?? That car is basically a modified 996 Turbo. The front drive has been removed and the horsepower has been upped to 462 with 457 lb ft torque....

I dont mean to nit pick but if you are gonna make a statement like that in an enthisiast forum you should make sure your facts are correct.

As far as whether Porsche or Ferrari is better. I have both and I dont think there is a better car. They are different in every way and both exciting to drive, but the quality of both is impeccable.
