13b Mpg vs 20b Mpg
Hey ive got an RX-7 FD Series 6 13 rotary, im thinking of getting a 3 rotor [20b] engine, i am a student at CPIT working 4 days a week, i want the 20b for the power but i am allready struggling to pay for the 13b. I looked on google for 20b Rotary engine mpg and results were mixed, some said 25-31 some said 7-13 and so on. Completely different results. I am not concerned about power, the 20b sounds way cooler and it gets more respect. Please, if someone knows the real mileage please email me or tell me on here . Darkrx7@hotmail.com if the 20b gets as much as a 13b that would be cool, thanks for the help! |

um if you have to worry about mileage for a 20b then you cannot afford one
by the way, I don't feel that your reasons for wanting a 20b are good at all.

A little late but a 20B is a money pit unless you own a shop and know your shit like the back of your hand. A 20B will make college debt seem like buying lunch when you see all the fab and mounting costs. Pettit charges 35,000 usd for an N/a 20B another 4500+ for a single turbo install that's not including the turbo cost itself either.

i've also studied it up and i'd rather mod the 2 than the 3

Re: 13b Mpg vs 20b Mpg
well first of all yea theres no way that if u can barely afford a 13b that ur gonna afford a 20b especially considering ur gonna have to import one from japan. and you need to want it because you love it (or your just craving horsepower)lol.

you want mpg ? go single turbo with a good hotside and a good exhaust and youll definilty get much better mpg ( of course you need a standalone to be tuned ! ) |
