I'll put in the weight; 3/s is roughly 3,300 to 3,400 lbs while a z is roughly anywhere from 2,900ish to about 3,083 pounds.

Cheating eh?? Where was there cheating? When Jackson pushed off in the end zone right in front of a referee? When the kicker missed two field goals? When Stephens dropped several passes? When Holmgren and Hasselbeck couldnt get on the same page and forgot how to manage time at the end of the first half? How about when Fast Willie blew by every Hawk defender for the longest TD run in SB history? Did the refs cheat when Seattle forgot how to defend and let Pittsburgh get inside the 5 on a 3rd and 28(?)? How about when Randel El threw a 49(?) yard pass on a reverse to hit Ward who was wide open?

Before you even bring them up Ben broke the plane. I have video proof. I recorded the game on DVD and he clearly broke the plane. His arm was hit in mid flight and after it broke the plane flew back under his body. 100% without a doubt the ball made it over.

Hasselbeck was called for a penalty Pittsburgh got called on not once but twice this season. He dove for whoever had the ball(cant remember who intercepted it right now) and ended up taking out a blocker below the knees in the process. He didnt mean to do so but thats exactly how it happened to Pittsburgh earlier in the season. The way the rule is written he committed the penalty.

The hold. Look at it one way and its a hold. Look at it another and its not. The refs saw the hand get to the back of the pass rusher and thats when the flag went out. Its not like once the catch was made at the 1 that they decided they were going to call the hold then. But did you see all the holding penalties not called? Some were so ridiculously blatant it was pathetic.

And I have seen others bring it up so I will too. The "horsecollar". Alexander was grabbed by his shoulder pads and brought down. I was damn close to a horsecollar, but it wasnt.

So I say again when was there any cheating?

Re: 3000GT's very own Off-Topic Thread! Part DEUX

they say he pusshed off, this is football, he barely touched him BARELY!!

they threw the ball and caught it right by the touchdown. they called holding, were was the holding?? even john madden said it wasnt holding

thats 2 td right there. its all love though.

and it really sucks that they would only sell seattle 10,000 tickets. so 90% of the crowd pittsburgh

my dad wanted pittsburgh to win and said "i want pittsburgh to win, but not like this, these calls are horribly bad"

He may have barely touched him but he extended his arm to get away. Thats offensive pass interference.

Do you think Madden knows everything? The man is losing his mind. He said Pittsburgh had their dime defense on the field when there offense was on the field LOL. Like I said if you see it from one angle its holding, see it from another and it may not be. And its not like he caught the ball at the 1, then the holding was called after the play was over. The ref was reaching for the flag before Hasselbeck released the ball. Its not like he knew the ball was going to be caught at the 1. But again what about all the blatant holds that werent called? The left side was holding all night long and thats the only way Hasselbeck didnt get sacked more than he did.

And on the tickets, both teams got 18,000 tickets. Pittsburgh fans managed to buy them up though. You cant blame fans or lack thereof for not buying tickets that were available to them. Someone said it on a blog I had read too, even if the game were in Seattle 90% of the fans would have been Pittsburgh fans anyway. They arent one of the most popular teams in the nation for nothin ya know.

Seattle is gonna struggle to get back next year. I would not be surprised if Alexander is playing with a new uniform next year. Hes unrestricted and cant be franchished. Plus they have the SB loser hump to get over. Something like 6 of the last 7 SB losers didnt make the playoffs the next year. Titans were the only recent ones to do so.

But you're right it is all good. But fact of the matter is Seattle did not take advantage of Pittsburgh mistakes, and they couldnt stop the big plays, and the kicker could only make a chip shot field goal while missing two others, in a dome at that, and Hasselbeck kept audibling Holgrens plays causing very poor clock management at the end of the 1st half. Seattle lost and Pittsburgh is now 5 time SB champs. Cant wait till next season now.

Although depression is gonna set in next Sunday when I realize there will be no pro football regular season games for over 6 months. This is gonna suck.

well everybody has there views and from what i seen and many many others there was no holding

and with the push, his momentum was going one way, and then he stoped to turn and in doing so, his arm is going to come out, he touched him while reversing his momentum, not a push in my eyes, but thats my opinion and all of seattle's and then there's pitts oipinion, of course were not gonna see eye to eye with this because were going for oposite teams, but it is what it is and we lost and i'm truly happy for bettis. pitts is my 2nd fav team, so its not that bad

Not arguing but there doesnt have to be a push to be offensive PI. The arm extension to get space is PI no matter how you look at it. Its only usually TE's who get hit with OPI though. Miller got called on it last night too.

Just curious though on what you think about Seattle possibly being without Alexander next year?

i'm not sure what he's gonna do. imo, he'd be stupid to leave cause seattle is a championship type team, proven to be one of the best in the nfl, unless he's going to pittsburgh lol, or the patriots his leaving wouldnt make much sense to me
