2001 330Ci Sport Package
Is the sport package worth the extra $?
Any Pro's / Con's to it vs the default setup? I'm looking to get a 2001 330Ci and have suddenly found myself in a giant fish bowl Tons of stuff to learn and decide before I make any purchase. I have many questions, but I figured I'd start with something basic. Thanks, PCH |

Yes it is worth the extra money unless you are planning on dumping the stock suspension and putting something even better in... which I'm assuming you are not. Plus the larger rims are alone worth it.
Pros - car handles better/looks better/ is better. Cons - costs money... but hey doen't everything IMO - GET IT!

Next Q
Thanks for the reply. I figured it was worth it, but other opinions always are helpfull.
On to my next Q. This isnt really a specific question, rather a do/don't area. Options. Premium package.. Worth it? Better to get parts individually? (especially the cd player... $600 to have them install a 6disk?!?) I'm leaning towards the stickomatic because I'll be driving 80-90miles per day. Not much traffic, but enough that I dont want to deal with the clutch.. (although the 0-60 is affected by ~.7 seconds or so)... So, any reccommended options, any not needed? Thanks, PCH |

Actually, all coupes have standard sport suspension. Sport package gives you high performance tires (225/45ZR17 Y) and sport seats. Still, it is worth the money. Keep in mind that you will need another set of tires for a winter. Sport seats are usefull for hard cornering (you and your scared passenger won't fly all over the car :-) and they are more comfortable.

Plus you get clear turn signals.. very nice, and best of all your side mirrors will rotate down when you back up.
