2001 Nissan Altima will crank but no fire

My son used the car Monday and the car worked great had no problems starting.Came home and the next morning the car would not start.Check the fuses and they where fine.Did try to unplud the coil from the distributor but for some reason having problems wanted to try to check the olms. The engine will turn over but no fire at the plugs
